Bowl For Kids Sake
The 4th annual Bowl For Kids Sake was a great success thanks to the 100 bowlers that participated in our event. This year’s campaign raised a little over $6,000 in pledges and over $4000 in business sponsorships. Twenty-five teams came and bowled during our two-day event held at Tornado Alley in Ottawa, March 12 & 13. This years top pledge person for the weekend was Susan Wettstein, raising $295 in pledges. Harold Gilbreth & George Pasley weren’t far behind with $232.50 and $225 respectively. We would like to thank Joe Trujillo’s team, Susan Wettstein’s team, Helen Norman’s team, and Sandra Stevens’ team for raising the most pledges for each of the three sessions. We sincerely thank each participant & sponsor; you have made it possible for us to serve more children in Anderson County.

Bowl
for Kid’s Sake is our largest fundraiser and accounts for
over 40% of our operating budget. This nationwide BBBS bowl-a-thon
is held each year by individual BBBS agencies to raise money for
their organization.
