| BFKS Holy Bowling Ball What A Success! Bowl for Kids Sake was a super hero theme this again this year. The bowling alley was filled with Real Heroes but no tights. This years Bowl for Kids Sake was not only fun but brought in new business partners as well as was a financial success. This year’s event raised more then $30,000.00. BFKS committee members consisted of Lisa Miller, Tonia Johnson, Sue Feighner and Brenda Doerfler. A huge thanks to them for their time and energy. It would not have as successful without them. The biggest THANKS to our bowlers and sponsors. This year 2 individuals raised over $1000 each. Peggy Epp and Laura Epp. They are so close in pledge amounts that the lap top will not be awarded until June 1, 2008 when all pledge money has been collected. Nicole Razo and Jordan Doty were the littles that gathered the most pledges. Each received a digital camera. Little’s from the waitlist not only greeted the bowlers as they came in they rolled out the first ball of each session. Emcee Shane McClintock, from KBEQ104.3 interviewed the littles and had them share why they wanted a Big and what they would like to do if they were matched. Kids Stuff inc. provided toys that were thrown out each time bowler rolled a strike. Other sponsors were:
