Welcome to BBBS of Montgomery & Wilson Counties Greetings! This is the home of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Montgomery and Wilson Counties. We are very glad that you decided to learn more about our program and how you can help to make a difference in a life of a child. You can use this site to inquire more about our community based mentoring program, as well as learn about upcoming events and how you can get involved. You may even sign up online to become a “Big” or enroll a child. What's New: The 4th Annual Grand Lake Catfishing Trip is scheduled for August 5-7. If you and your Little would like to attend, please call Mike (316-263-3300) or Katrina (620-331-5544) ASAP to reserve your spot! We will be staying at Longs' Resort Friday & Saturday, 8/5-6 and fishing with the Grand Reservoir Authority Police. BBBS will provide breakfast on 8/6 and we'll fry up the catfish for dinner that Saturday evening (and we'll catch lots!). All you need to do is show up...all of the fishing tackle, boats and everything else are taken care of. You will need to provide your own transportation down and back and meals for Friday evening and Sunday. We are asking that you contribute $50 to help offset the cost of the lodge. Then just plan on having a great time with some great folks at a great place! We only have a limited number of slot available so call now to make sure you get one! |
