Catfishing at Shangri-La

Nine Littles and their Bigs, along with some family members traveled to Shangri-La Resort to enjoy a day of catfishing. Invited by Grand Reservoir Dam Authority Police, a great time was had by all.

Sunrise finds 21 anglers from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sedgwick County setting out onto Grand Lake in search of catfish.

Guided by Steve Shirley and volunteers from the Grand Reservoir Dam Authority Police, the kids and Bigs had a lot of fun and made a huge catch. There was enough fish for a fish fry later that night, with plenty left for seconds and thirds.
