KS BBBS agencies particpate in OKKids day!

LAWRENCE, KS. — BBBS of Cloud Co. and BBBS of Douglass Co. both participated in local OKKids Day (Outdoor Kansas for Kids) events on May 8th. OKKids is hosted by Kansas Wildscape and sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Coleman, Capital Federal Savings and the Kansas Health Foundation. Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks provided the facilities at state parks across Kansas.

In Douglass Co., 13 Littles and matches participated in a fishing clinic and derby followed by a free lunch. In Cloud Co. 3 Littles and volunteer Bigs participated in a fishing clinic.

Dustin and Jonathan enjoy a leasurely fishing outing.

It doesn't get much better than this…Xavier and Annie enjoying a fine May morning in the great Kansas outdoors!
