Match from BBBS of Sumner Co. goes Deer Hunting

September 27 & 28, 2003

Little Nicholas and his Big Bart Buresch traveled to Anthony, KS to participate in the 4th Annual KDWP Youth Deer Hunt. With the assistance of their guide, Marc Murrell, Little Nicholas overcame a bad case of "buck fever" and harvested his first deer!

KDWP and local landowners hosted 20 young hunters from around central Kansas for the weekend hunt. KS BBBS was fortunate to be able to have one of our matches join the hunt.

For Marc, the successful hunt ended his 0-for streak as a guide on the hunt. As you can see from the photos, everyone came home happy from this hunt!
