Wingshooting Class with BBBS of Marion Co.

The Cottonwood Valley Quail Unlimited Chapter hosted a wingshooting class at Gary Vogel's farm. Members of the Cottonwood Valley QU chapter were there to offer support and assistance as three Littles from Marion Co and two from McPherson Co took turns turning clay pigeons to dust.

All of the Littles had a great time shooting and were soon breaking targets with great regularity.

Thanks to Mr. Vogel for allowing us to use his property for the shoot and to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks for the use of the automatic trap, targets and shotguns! Without folks like these, we wouldn't be able to introduce our Littles to the joys of the shooting sports!

Two of the Littles didn't hang around for the photo opportunity, but the smiling faces of the Cottonwood Valley QU members and the Littles is ample proof that everyone had a good time!
