BBBS of Reno County goes Shooting!

Matches and Waiting Littles traveled to Kansas Clays and Hunts on Saturday, March 27th, but the weather just didn't want to cooperate. Even though it was raining when everyone met at the BBBS office in downtown Hutchinson, everyone wanted to give it try, so we journeyed to the range, grilled some hotdogs, and hoped the rain would break so we could shoot.

But it wasn't to be.

Jim Kellenberg from KDWP had made the trip from western KS to Kansas Clays with his trailer full of shooting goodies. Jim had the traps set up, the targets out, and the shotguns ready. But it just kept raining.

While the rain dampened the skies, it failed to dampen the spirits of the kids. They're all eager to give shotgunning a try!
