Wingshooting with BBBS of Cowley Co.

Thanks to a host of supporters, 7 Littles from Cowley Co. enjoyed an afternoon of wingshooting fun. Volunteers from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Cowley Co. Sheriff's Department, Augusta Deparment of Safety, Kansas Wildlife and Parks and Atlanta Fire Department mentored the Littles, sharing their time and experience to make it a special day for all involved.

Chad McCluskey and K-9 Basco provided a law enforcement dog demonstration which impressed everyone in attendance.

Darrell Crow, KHP Range Master, provided shooting instruction that had all of the Littles consistently breaking targets as the day came to a close.

A big thanks goes to Brent Fleming with GP Traps for providing the target throwers for the afternoon and to KDWP for providing shotguns, ammunition and clay targets.

And a Special Thanks goes to Dennis and Connie Hittle who invited BBBS to their farm and provided the food and assisted in organizing the whole affair!
