BBBS of Douglas Co goes Pontoon Boating

BBBS of Douglas County picked a chilly spring morning to take pontoon boat rides on Clinton Lake, just west of Lawrence, KS. While the weather wasn't as balmy as one might like it for a ride on the lake, you can see from the photos below that everyone had a great time!

 

We packed a lunch for everyone and decided to let the anchor down to eat. (Big Sister Jeni Reichle, her Little Michalya, and LB Braxton)

It was so cold that we ended up covering ourselves with a tarp we found under a seat. It was too much fun and no one wanted to head back to shore. (Match Jeni Reichle and Michalya, and Purvi)

Even though it was chilly, the smiles were enough to keep you warm!

Erin Thomas, Case Manager for BBBS of Douglas County, drove this pontoon boat out on Clinton Lake, May 26th, full of Bigs and Littles. The weather was chilly!

Core Match Jeni Reichle and her Little Michalya sat at the end of the boat and got splashed by the cold water.
