BBBS of Douglas Co. Fishing BFAD
June
5, 2004
The
Pass It On program in Douglas County was kicked off with a fishing
BFAD, at Fall Leaf Farm in Linwood, KS. Volunteers from Kansas Highway
Patrol and Kohl's spent the day fishing with Littles from the waiting
list. Matches were encouraged to attend as well.
Everyone
enjoyed hotdogs on the grill and all the fixin's.

Littles
Clinton Ruff, Cody Slifer, Daniel Slifer are joined by Volunteer
Bigs Trooper Da'Von Brame, Master Trooper Charles "Tad"
Krape and Lt. Dan Meyer. |

Everyone
enjoyed catching fish!
|
|

Fall
Leaf Farm was a scenic site for the day of fishing and spending
time together. |

Randy
Shaw, BBBS staff, even got in on the action! |
|

The
smile is saying, "What better way to spend a day?!"
|

Some
of the Bigs and Littles took a spin around the pond on the
paddle boat. |

When
the fish quit biting, everyone enjoyed hotdogs and all the
fixin's for lunch.
