PALS Fishing Event

Abilene High teacher, Larry Condra and Texas Pass It On coordinator, Chip Martin team up with local fishing enthusiasts in the Abilene, Texas area to instruct youngsters in fishing techniques and outdoor cooking skills as well as conservation values and ethics. Over thirty youngsters participated in this outdoor mentoring event at the Abilene State Park in Buffalo Gap, Texas.

Pals mentor and Little Sister check out a favorite catfish hole-Saturday, Oct. 25 @ Abilene State Park	Local fishermens groups and invididual volunteers instruct young mentors and their Littles on the "How To" of fishing for catfish.	Group instruction before the reels get hot. Young mentors learn to teach their Littles safety, ethics and good sportsmanship.
All youngsters learn to make their own meal with instructor from adults mentors.	More cooking instruction.
