Pass It On Coordinator for Texas is On-Board!

August 12, Abilene, TX. Janet Ardoyno, Executive Director of BBBS of Abilene, announced that Chip Martin has accepted the position of Pass It On Coordinator for Texas. Abilene will begin piloting the program in Texas with Pass It On events beginning as soon as Chip puts them together.

" Chip's contacts with the outdoors organizations, and his passion for kids will be a great asset for BBBS in Texas. We are looking forward to engaging more outdoors men and women with our programs," stated Janet. Chip's background includes serving as the Quail Unlimited Regional Director for Texas for the last 10 years, giving him a wealth of contacts across the state of Texas.

"I'm looking forward to hitting the ground running with this new position," stated Chip. "Texas has a rich outdoors tradition that will let us bring many new men and women to Big Brothers Big Sisters and let us involve a great number of our Littles in outdoor activities." Chip is already making plans for fall dove and quail hunts and will be working to involve Texas Littles in a wide variety of outdoor experiences including fishing, boating, canoeing, and nature appreciation.

You can reach Chip via e-mail or by phone at (325) 660-3599.
