Racing fans and friends of BBBS of Reno County: visit Jerrod Reimer's (Wild Child racecar) website at www.ReimerRacing.com

Jerrod is the Treasurer for the Board of Directors of BBBS of Reno County, works for Mega Manufacturing, bowls for us each year, and in his spare time, likes to drive in great big, left hand circles going at speeds no human should be traveling.

Jerrod shared this information: "The type of car I will be driving on the semi-pro series is called a Late Model. The series that I will be racing that car in is called TORA. We race 20 races during the year in Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma. We race on dirt ovals so we always turn left. Average speed is probably 100 mph, but on large tracks we can reach b/w 130 to 140 mph. The track in Topeka is called Thunder Hill Speedway. It’s actually in a little town called Mayetta which is 20 miles north of Topeka."

"My car that I own and race in Hutchinson is called a Super Stock. I will be racing it 20 times at Hutchinson Raceway Park. We also race it on dirt ovals. Average speed is 70 mph and we can reach 90 to 100 mph."

"Both cars carry the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Reno County logo."
Visit Jerrod's site today to learn more about "Wild Child 75" and good luck to Jerrod when he races.
